Opening of Faculty Position in Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan

A position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR, or PROFESSOR level in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan (http://homepage.ntu.edu.tw/~ppm/ppm_english/) is available on February 1, 2011. The area of interest is Phytopathology-related, including subjects of Disease Diagnosis, Disease Control, Physiological Pathology, Epidemiology, and Resistance Breeding. Teaching, research, and service are required for the job. Scientist interested in applying for the position should possess a Ph.D. degree. Two recommendation letters and three copies of the following are required: (1) curriculum vitae, (2) Ph.D. diploma, (3) publication list, (4) teaching plans, (5) research proposals, (6) hard prints of the latest five-year publications (published after November 30, 2005), (7) a cover letter declaring the position to be applied and the title of the designated representative paper (published after November 30, 2007). If a Ph.D. dissertation is used as a representative publication for the application of the position of “Assistant professor”, official transcripts for undergraduate and graduate studies should be included.
