Times 2015-2016 NTU 167 U.S. News & WorldReport 128

繼QS 2015大學排名NTU第70名，17個領域排名前50大之後，英國泰晤士報高等教育特刊公布2015-2016年全球最佳大學本校排名167名以及U.S. News & WorldReport 《美國新聞與世界報導》世界大學排名，臺灣大學名列128名。

學術副校長陳良基表示，世界大學排名有多種，對於浮動應持平看待，但可以進一步研究各項目分數，瞭解排名下滑的原因，做為未來努力和改進參考。根據觀察通常在國際連結的評比項目表現較弱。

陳副校長也指出，有些項目的成果會遞延出現，例如論文數可能會延後幾年才反映，另外像Moocs)線上課程投入的效果比較即時，很快反映在國際知名度上，但是高教經費今年開始減少，可能往後幾年排名就會受影響，臺大也一直努力在募款，希望減少衝擊。
