演講主題：Sipix Microcup Electrophoretic Display Technology:A Flexible, Reflective, Bistable Display For Application in Smart Cards, Retail Signs, Reconfigurable User Interfaces, and Electronic Books.

摘　　要

Microcup electrophoretic displays are an emerging　technology which provides extremely robust, flexible, reflective displays which require no power to maintain the image.　Such displays are enabling whole new categories of application including displays on smart credit and travel cards, reprogrammable phone keypads, wireless signage in retail stores, and ereaders. The commercialization of such displays is being led by SiPix Technology Inc., in Chung-Li, Taiwan.

In this talk we will review the basic principles of operation, show examples of displays used in these applications, discuss materials selection issues involved in developing this technology as well as current progress and future directions in media performance.
